Current Projects
- E-voting example: This is a teaching related project on testing and assurance. A simple system is available for download.
- Android Security System: This is project completed by Yoshio Matsuoka under the supervision of Drs. Krishnan and Wu.
Two aspects of the system are available for download.
- Secure Program Analysis: This project is being sponsored by Sun Microsystems and will start in Sept 2008 with Dr. Krishnan
as supervisor.
- Model-based Testing for Software Security: This is a Ph.D. topic undertaken by Percy Pari Salas in conjunction with KJRoss and Associates. Drs Krishnan and Ross are the supervisors. Expected date of completion April 2009.
- Secure Document Circulation: This is a Ph.D. topic undertaken by Shane Bracher with Drs Krishnan and Cuellar (Siemens Research, Munich) as co-supervisors. Expected date of completion July 2008.
- Policy Representation for Software Assurance: This is a topic undertaken by James Larkin with Drs Krishnan and Stocks as co-supervisors. Expected date of completion December 2008.

Past Projects
- E-Health Standards: This project was completed by Emma Chavez with Drs Krishnan and Finnie
as supervisors. A prototype tool is available on the web.
- Development of Risk Framework: This project was completed by Aditya Agrawal with Drs Krishnan and Finnie as co-supervisors. Prototype Risk Calculator is available.
- Security Standards: This is a project undertaken by Aditya Agrawal.
- Security Protocol Verification: This is an M.Sc(Research) topic undertaken by Daniel Plasto in conjunction with Siemens Research (Munich) with Dr. Krishnan as supervisor.
- GUI Testing: This is an MIT(Hons) topic undertaken by Steffen Bach in conjunction with KJRoss and Associates with input from RedHat and Troll Tech. Drs. Krishnan and Stocks are the supervisors.
Consultancy Services
- Dr Krishnan has provided services related to software assurance and certification in a variety of areas including web based systems and eHealth.
